About Prayer Nwagboso

Prayer Nwagboso is a humanitarian leader, social entrepreneur, author and advocate whose work focuses on expanding access to education, advancing gender equality and building sustainable community-development solutions.

As Founder & CEO of Naza Agape Foundation, she has led programmes supporting vulnerable children, internally displaced persons, women and underserved communities. What began as grassroots educational intervention in IDP camps in Northern Nigeria has developed into a wider impact network involving hundreds of volunteers across several countries.

Prayer is also the Co-Founder of Girlified, which develops eco-friendly menstrual solutions designed to address period poverty while reducing plastic pollution. In addition, she is involved in global networks and leadership initiatives related to sustainable development, women's empowerment and humanitarian action.

Her wider professional journey includes community volunteering, leadership development, media experience and entrepreneurship. She previously worked as a television news reporter with the Nigerian Television Authority and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Covenant University.

She is the author of “Victory at Last: How I Conquered Low Self-Esteem,” a book aimed at helping teenagers and young adults build confidence, self-worth and resilience. Her current priorities include expanding tuition-free education, developing partnerships for sustainable development, supporting underserved communities and contributing to cross-sector initiatives in education and gender equality.

Prayer Nwagboso is a humanitarian leader, social entrepreneur and Founder & CEO of Naza Agape Foundation, where she develops scalable initiatives across education, humanitarian support, gender equality and community development. Her work began with educational support for children in internally displaced persons camps in Northern Nigeria and has expanded into a multi-country network supported by more than 500 volunteers.

She is also Co-Founder of Girlified, an initiative addressing period poverty and plastic pollution through eco-friendly menstrual solutions, and serves in international leadership and advocacy roles focused on sustainable development and women’s empowerment. Prayer is a published author and a graduate of Covenant University in Mass Communication.
